8/7: The Ghosts score a run in the 1st inning, FOUR RBIs in the 2nd, and another in the 3rd and DESTROY the River Raiders 6-0!!!

8/8: The Ghosts scored twice in the 2nd inning, the River Raiders tied it 2-2 in the bottom of the 2nd.
The Ghosts hit another RBI single in the 3rd to lead 3-2, then CRUSHED a 3-run home run in the 4th.
That was the dagger as they hold on to win 6-2 and win their first league championship!
Those 12 runs sets a new record for most runs scored by a team in a championship series. The previous record was 11 runs by the Beamriders in 2015, and that was in three games, not two!


8/4: The Upmonsters hit THREE RBI singles in the 4th inning and shoot down the River Raiders today 3-0!
River Raiders win the Battle Network on a tiebreaker and will face the Ghosts on Monday!



8/3: The Smash hit an RBI single in the 3rd inning to lead 1-0.
It looked bad for the Deadly Dogs until the bottom of the 9th when they crushed a clutch RBI single to tie it!!!
Both teams fought hard until the Dogs hit a walk off single in the 12th to win 2-1!!!


8/2: The Spartans beat the Mutants 1-0 today on an RBI single in the 6th inning.


8/1: It was a tough game for 8 innings today, then the Bombers hit two RBI singles in the top of the 9th. They hold on to beat the Ghosts 2-0.


7/31: The Armada started the game with an RBI single in the 1st inning.
The Beamriders tied the game 1-1 in the 3rd with an RBI single.
The Armada took the lead 2-1 in the 8th scoring on a fielder's choice and hold on to win.


7/27: The Deadly Dogs score a run in the 3rd inning and hold on to beat the Spartans today 1-0.


7/26: The Ghosts beat the Upmonsters 2-1 today on a walk off single in the 12th inning! First network championship since 2019.



7/25: The Bombers hit RBI singles in the 2nd and 7th innings and shoot down the Armada today 2-0.


7/24: The Smash actually win a game!!! A two-run blast and another RBI single gave them a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning.
The Smash made it 4-0 in the 5th with another RBI hit.
The Beamriders were close to tying it in the end, but ultimately were shot down 4-2.


7/20: The Beamriders hit two RBI singles in the 1st inning and hold on to beat the Upmonsters today 2-0!


7/19: River Raiders continue to fly high winning their 6th in a row, beating the Spartans 2-1 on a walk off single in the 9th!


7/18: Today was ONE OF THE GREATEST GAMES IN LEAGUE HISTORY!!! (if not THE best!) An outer space battle for the ages!!!
The Smash got it started scoring on a fielder's choice in the 2nd inning.
The Mutants tied it by scoring on a fielder's choice in the 3rd inning.
The Smash took the lead 2-1 in the 6th on an RBI single.
The Mutants BLASTED a home run in the 7th to lead 3-2!
The Smash hit two RBI singles in the 7th to lead 4-3!!!
The Mutants get a HIT-AND-RUN BUNT RBI to tie it 4-4, then hit ANOTHER RBI SINGLE TO LEAD 5-4 IN THE 9TH!!!
The Smash tried to rally back in the bottom of the 9th but were shot down.


7/17: The Deadly Dogs hit an RBI single in the 1st and THREE more in the 7th and destroy the Armada today 4-0!


7/13: The Armada got the scoring going in the 4th inning with an RBI single.
It looked bad for the River Raiders, until they hit a CLUTCH 3-RUN HOME RUN in the 8th inning!!! They hold on to win 3-1.


7/12: Great game today! Lots of offense!
The Mutants got it started with two RBI's in the 1st inning to lead 2-0.
The Ghosts got RBI singles in the 3rd and 6th innings to tie it at 2-2!
The Ghosts hit an RBI single in the 11th inning to take the lead 3-2!
The Mutants were a few feet short from tying it in the bottom of the 11th, but the Ghosts defense shot them down.


7/11: It was a tough defensive game for 10 innings today, then the Bombers score their winning run in the 11th on a fielding error by the Deadly Dogs shortstop! They win 1-0.


7/10: The Upmonsters hit an RBI single in the 4th inning today and hold on to beat the Smash 1-0.


7/7: The Mutants started the game with an RBI single in the 1st inning.
The Beamriders tied the game on a fielder's choice in the 3rd.
Both teams battled until the Beamriders hit an RBI single in the 14th inning to lead 2-1 and hold on to win.


7/6: The Bombers scored a run in the first inning on a fielder's choice.
The River Raiders blasted a home run down the 3rd base line to take a 2-1 lead.
The River Raiders increased their lead to 3-1 on an RBI bunt in the 7th.
The Bombers scored a run in the 8th, but were ultimately shot down 3-2.


7/5: The Ghosts hit two RBI singles in the 3rd and one more in the 8th and beat the Smash today 3-0.


7/3: The Spartans blasted a home run in the 4th inning, the Armada hit an RBI single in the 6th to tie it.
The Spartans fought back with their own RBI single in the 7th and shoot down the Armada 2-1.


6/29: The River Raiders hit FOUR RBIs in the 3rd inning and one more in the 8th and burn the Deadly Dogs today 5-0! That's the Raiders 3rd win in a row.


6/28: The Mutants went berserk at the plate today with 4 RBI singles and a home run! They destroy the Upmonsters 5-1.


6/27: The Bombers hit an RBI single in the 2nd inning today and shot down the Spartans 1-0.


6/26: The Beamriders hit an RBI single in the 3rd inning and held on to beat the Ghosts today 1-0.


Mid-season Report


6/23: CRAZY MARATHON GAME TODAY!!!
It was a tough defensive game for 12 innings, then the Upmonsters launched a home run in the 13th to lead 2-0.
The Bombers blasted a home run of their own, then tied the game in the 13th with an RBI single!!!
I can't remember the last time a team tied the score this late in a game, if ever!
Both teams kept fighting until the 20TH INNING (again!) when the Upmonsters dropped an RBI bunt to lead 3-2.
The Bombers tried to tie it again but were shut down, and the Upmonsters hold on to win.


6/22: The River Raiders scored two runs in the third inning to lead 2-0.
The Smash scored a run on a fielder's choice in the 5th, and almost tied it in the 9th, but the River Raiders shut them down and win 2-1.


6/21: The Mutants crushed a home run on the first pitch of the game today! They also hit three RBI singles in the 3rd inning and shoot down the Armada 4-0.


6/20: It was a battle of the first place teams today! Many good hits and defensive plays.
The Ghosts scored first with an RBI single in the 1st inning.
The Deadly Dogs tied the game in the 2nd.
The Ghosts hit four straight singles to lead off the 8th and go on to win 2-1.


6/19: The Spartans get their first win of the season with 3 RBI's in the 7th inning today!!! They shoot down the Beamriders 3-0.


6/15: It was a tight game except for the River Raiders hitting two RBI singles in the 4th inning. They shoot down the Spartans today 2-0.


6/14: It was a tight game for four innings, then the Beamriders scored two runs on Upmonsters errors and an RBI single in the 5th inning!
The Upmonsters battled back with an RBI single in the 7th, but they still lose their first game of the season 3-1.


6/13: The Armada scored a run in the 3rd inning and two more in the 6th inning and shot down the Bombers today 3-1.


6/12: The Ghosts started the game today by scoring on a fielder's choice in the 1st inning.
The Smash tied the game in the bottom of the 1st with an RBI single.
The Ghosts took advantage of bad fielding and pitching by the Smash and scored THREE RUNS in the 4th.
They went on to win 5-1, their 3rd win in a row.


6/8: LONGEST GAME IN LEAGUE HISTORY!!!
The Upmonsters hit an RBI single in the 4th inning to take the lead 1-0.
The Mutants tied the game in the bottom of the 9th on a fielder's choice.
Both teams battled until the 20TH INNING when the Upmonsters hit a walk off single to win 2-1!


6/7: The Armada and River Raiders battled for 15 INNINGS today, then the Armada scored a run on a fielder's choice in the 16th and win 1-0.


6/6: Great game today! The Smash hit two RBI singles in the 2nd inning to take a 2-0 lead.
The Beamriders cut the lead to 2-1 in the 4th with a single.
The Beamriders then blast THREE RBI singles in the 7th inning to lead 4-2 and hold on for their first win!


6/5: DEADLY DOGS ARE ON FIRE!!! With RBIs in both the 3rd and 4th innings, the Dogs beat the Bombers today 3-0. Four straight wins, outscoring opponents 8-1, and three straight shutouts.


6/2: The Armada crushed a home run in the 4th inning.
The Spartans tied the game with an RBI single in the 6th.
The Armada took the lead with an RBI single in the 7th and hold on to win 2-1.


6/1: The Beamriders scored a run on a fielder's choice in the 2nd inning.
The Ghosts fought back with two RBI's in the 5th inning and hold on to win 2-1.


5/31: The Deadly Dogs' bats stay hot with two RBI singles in the 5th inning today as they burn the River Raiders 2-0.


5/30: It was a tight game for 10 innings today, then the Mutants hit four straight singles in the 11th inning and beat the Smash 1-0.


5/25: The Ghosts hit two RBI singles in the 3rd inning and beat the Mutants today 2-0.


5/24: The Bombers' offense exploded with three RBI singles today and shot down the Spartans 3-0.


5/23: It was a tight game for three innings today, then the Smash started struggling defensively and with pitching in the 4th inning.
The Upmonsters got RBI singles in the 4th and 6th innings and held on to beat the Smash 2-0.


5/22: The Deadly Dogs crushed a home run to right-center on the 3rd pitch of the game today and went on to burn the league champion Armada 2-0.


5/18: It was a tough defensive game for seven innings, until the Bombers hit an RBI single in the 8th.
It was all on the Bombers' closer to shut down the River Raiders, but the River Raiders smacked a single up the middle, then BANGED A HOME RUN down the left field line on the 3rd pitch of the inning!!!
They shoot down the Bombers 2-1!


5/17: The Ghosts and Upmonsters both had strong pitching and defense today, until the Upmonsters finally broke through with an RBI single in the 7th. They hold on to win 1-0.


5/16: The Spartans hit an RBI single in the 3rd inning.
The Deadly Dogs tied it with a single in the 4th.
Both teams battled until the 12th inning, when the Deadly Dogs hit a walk off single and win 2-1.


5/15: The Mutants hit an RBI single in the 6th.
The Beamriders tied it with a HR in the 8th.
The Mutants hit an RBI single in the 10th and hold on to win 2-1!



The Intellivision Baseball League is back with a new season starting May 15! Here are details on this season:

Games will start at a new time, around 8:30am PDT.
A live scoreboard for the game of the day will be on the website.
The season will consist of 12 weeks, including two inter-network weeks.
Each team will have two bye weeks during the season.
The championship series will take place on August 7.

Shortly after each game is completed, its video will be posted to the league's YouTube channel http://bit.ly/intytube.



The league is looking for someone to review the game videos and compile team stats for the website. The amount of stats to be compiled would be decided by the statistician. The league is also looking for someone with a vivid imagination to write stories and provide analysis about the league for a blog.
